TimeFlow vs Reclaim

Half the price, plus an LLM that actually plans the week.

Reclaim

Their site
$10–22/month per user

Free tier exists but caps habits and Smart Meetings heavily.

Strengths

  • Pioneered the auto-scheduling category — mature defrag engine.
  • Smart Meetings and team availability features are genuinely good for teams.
  • Solid Google Calendar two-way sync.

Gaps vs TimeFlow

  • Starts at $10/month and most useful features ($16+) sit behind the higher tiers.
  • No LLM-driven strategic planner — the scheduler is rule-based, not goal-aware.
  • No built-in chat assistant. No projects with deadlines and phases.
  • No built-in time tracker — you bolt on Toggl or RescueTime.

TimeFlow

The honest read

Reclaim deserves credit for inventing the modern auto-scheduling category. If you're on a team and you need shared availability windows, Smart Meetings, and team-aware defrag, Reclaim is still the obvious pick. TimeFlow doesn't ship those team features yet.

For solo users — freelancers, founders, ICs — the math gets harder. The features that make Reclaim *Reclaim* (habits, scheduling links, integrations) sit on the $16/month Business tier or higher. TimeFlow gives you the same auto-scheduler plus an LLM that strategically plans the week, projects with phases, a chat assistant, and a built-in time tracker for $5/month.

The other big functional difference: Reclaim's scheduler is rule-based. It defrags and protects time but doesn't reason about *which* deep-work block is the highest-leverage one this week. TimeFlow's AutoScheduler MAX runs an LLM over your goals and meetings to pick a small number of strategic placements — and the regular scheduler reflows around what MAX pins.

FAQ

Does TimeFlow auto-schedule like Reclaim does?

Yes. The core auto-scheduler fits tasks and habits into the gaps between meetings, in priority order, during your working hours — same fundamental promise as Reclaim. TimeFlow adds an LLM-driven strategic layer (AutoScheduler MAX) that Reclaim doesn't have.

Can I import my Reclaim tasks?

Not directly today. The fastest path is to connect Google Calendar (TimeFlow does this on signup) and let TimeFlow pick up your meetings, then add tasks/habits as you go. We're tracking import as a beta-period feature request.

Does TimeFlow do Smart Meetings and team scheduling?

Not yet. TimeFlow is solo-first during beta. If you need team availability and shared 1:1 booking, Reclaim is genuinely better for that today.

Is the $5/month price really locked for life?

Yes. Subscribers who sign up during beta stay at $5/month for as long as the subscription stays active, even after we roll out the standard $10/month rate at general availability.

Does TimeFlow have habits like Reclaim?

Yes — set a target like '5 hours of exercise per week' and TimeFlow places the time. Daily, weekly, or any rhythm. Same mechanic, included at the $5 price.
